Recent surveys indicate that women obtaining abortions identify themselves as Protestant (43%) or Catholic (27%.)  So it is likely that, in any given church, there are women sitting in the pews suffering in silence.  Many have been unable to reach their full potential in ministry and in their personal lives because they hold their “secret” sin so closely.
